The Con Docuseries More Widely Available

Movie Post for The Con docuseries.

I have just learned that the documentary, The Con, a five-part investigative docuseries revealing massive frauds committed by large banks which led to the Great Financial Crisis, is being released through multiple channels… Apple TV, Amazon, Xbox, Vimeo, and Comcast On Demand.

It was my great honor to be included in the filming of this comprehensive documentary, which allowed me to meet and become friends with filmmakers Patrick Lovell and Eric Vaughan, as well as other well-known whistleblowers Michael Winston, Gary Aguire, and William K. Black. The film also highlights many true stories, including how our government covered up the fraudulent actions and blocked high-level law enforcement officials (including Chris Swecker, FBI, and Paul Pelletier, DOJ) from pursuing investigation and prosecution of the crimes which caused much widespread economic damage and homelessness in our country.

Unfortunately, most people in our country are totally unaware of the true causes of the financial crisis, thus ensuring that there will almost certainly be an even greater financial crisis in our near future.

I strongly encourage everyone to watch this outstanding documentary. If our country does not learn from the mistakes of the past, we are doomed to suffer even greater consequences in the future.

Richard Bowen is widely known as the Citigroup whistleblower. As Business Chief Underwriter for Citigroup during the housing bubble financial crisis meltdown, he repeatedly warned Citi executive management and the board about fraudulent behavior within the organization. The company certified poor mortgages as quality mortgages and sold them to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and other investors.
